BIOGRAPHY

KC Craine is an American fingerstyle guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer from Portland, Oregon.  He was selected as a finalist in the 2019 Great American Song Contest.
 
KC was the leader of the 80's San Francisco band KC Craine and the Conditions. He was signed to Blue Heron Records and shared the stage with acts like Huey Lewis and the News, Jefferson Starship and Eddie Money.
 
Today he's better known as the leader of the Portland band Tin Compass.

He is the author of the book the
First Time Guitar Buyers Guide.

KC's compositions have been used in national television and film, including the Warner Bros syndicated TV show "
Smallville
" and the documentary film "Hineni" from WGBH in Boston.
