KC Craine is an American fingerstyle guitarist, singer-songwriter, and producer based in Portland, Oregon. A finalist in the 2019 Great American Song Contest, his work blends melodic guitar craft with cinematic songwriting and a roots-driven sensibility.

In the 1980s, KC was prominent in the San Francisco music scene as the leader of The Conditions. The band was signed to Blue Heron Records and shared stages with artists including Huey Lewis and the News, Jefferson Starship, and Eddie Money.

Today, KC is best known as the songwriter and creative force behind the Portland-based band KC Craine and Tin Compass.

His compositions have reached national audiences through television and film placements, including the Warner Bros. syndicated series "Smallville" and the WGBH Boston documentary "Hineni". In Portland, KC and Tin Compass have built a growing reputation for their dynamic live shows and distinctive Northwest roots sound.
